Burnsville Community Television
Community Television Operations Specialist
Burnsville, MN
Tina Wilson started her career at the Lake Minnetonka Communications Commission (LMCC) in 2004 and has been immersed in the world of public access television ever since. She has been a part of every area of access from covering local football games, community parades or helping in the studio to create eye catching, fun and interesting programs.

Working with North West Community Television in Brooklyn Park, MN also helped develop Tina’s teaching skills, as she worked with community members to teach them the skills they needed to create their own programs.

Now, Tina is the Community Television Operations Specialist at Burnsville Community Television where she utilizes all her career skills to the fullest by creating a lasting public access facility and programming for Burnsville residents and non-profits.

Tina has also been an active member of the Alliance for Community Media and a board member for the Midwest Region for over three years. In April of 2015 she was elected as the Chair for the Midwest Region and in May of 2015 elected to the National Board of the ACM.

In her free time, Tina enjoys reading, exploring her native home of Minnesota, walking her adorable dog Maddie, traveling and spending time with her seven nieces and nephews.
