CASTUS Corporation
President
Issaquah Washington
While studying video production at Bellevue College, Nathan began his career as an intern at a local production studio. While there, he landed a contract with a city filming PSA’s and city council meetings. He filed for a business license in 2004 and began Impact Studio Pro, now a recognizable name in the Seattle Eastside.
Nathan was tasked with scheduling content on the city’s channel, using archaic scheduling devices. Inspired to create an easier solution, Nathan teamed up with business partner Jonathan Campbell, designed a system that would use a single server to store and play content, creating better workflow and accurate scheduling. Their idea was appreciated by the city and soon other cities were requesting a demo, leading to a growing business. CASTUS was born.
In 2012, Nathan and the team revealed the CASTUS technology at the Alliance for Community Media National Conference in Chicago. Since then, CASTUS has taken off and is now playing video content worldwide. Now with sales offices in Washington, Michigan, New England and Florida, CASTUS continues to provide the next generation of video servers.

Nathan has carried his fervor for local community involvement to all aspects of the CASTUS business model. CASTUS is a supporter of local non profits and programs that educate youth on the value of free expression and participation in local government. CASTUS is a member of the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce and serves the organization in many ways, including Nathan’s reign as ‘King of Issaquah’ in 2014. Ask anyone in the Issaquah School District, our local cities and chambers, and they will tell you CASTUS is a leader in the digital media industry.
