Small Community Media Center Summit

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The world of Community Media Centers is diverse, with CMC’s operating with budgets that range from $0 to several million dollars per year.  This session will address challenges and provide solutions appropriate to CMCs with small budgets that serve small and/or rural communities. How do you do all the things that need to be done to serve your community on a very limited budget?  Find out how building partnerships and collaborations can be a critical building block to expand your resources. This session will feature extensive interaction between speakers and participants and will provide opportunities for brainstorming and problem-solving.  While this session is geared toward access operations with limited budgets, the definition of “limited” is sometimes relative.  Therefore, staff and volunteers for CMC’s of all sizes are welcome.
